So, what's the most inappropriate thing you've ever done to your Clarity? What would make the Honda engineers and designers cringe if they saw what you'd done?

I thought of this today as I was strapping my kayak to the Clarity's roof. (ok, my Jeep was in the shop...) It worked surprisingly well. Attaching in the rear was no problem, there's a nice heavy ring under the rear bumper. For the front I tied the rope to the square gizmo that the hood latch attaches to under the hood. And for the side, bungee cords attached to the tops of the wheel wells worked nicely and didn't scratch the paint

Nope. I bought a used Nissan Frontier 4x4 truck for the outdoor stuff. Plus, when my friends kid me about the car I can let them know I also have the truck. It is fun for the offroad stuff (plenty of offroad activities where I live). Plus, sometimes you just need a truck (yes, I am that friend that has a truck when someone need help).
