Overly sensitive Lane Departure Alert?

Scene:
You're driving on the interstate. You're coming up on a small curve in the road. You begin to go around the curve like in your previous car. You get a lane departure warning on-screen.
To you, it looks like you're well within your lane. In your side mirrors, you see the lane stripes on both sides of your car.

Still, your dash is lit up orange and your car beeps at you, warning of impending lane departure.
End Scene.

Has anyone else had this type of experience?

Has anyone thought the attached meme is appropriate in these situations?

Most importantly, has anyone come up with a way to avoid the constant beeping around curves while leaving the safety feature enabled?

It appears that your lane sensing might be set too narrow. This from the manual:

"You can change the setting for the road departure
mitigation system. Narrow, Normal, Wide, and
Warning Only can be selected.
Customized Features P. 306"

Setting it to wide has mostly fixed it! Now it only occasionally erroneously complains
- at really wide forks
- when there is errant lane striping
- when there are stripes in an intersection to indicate the paths for multiple turning lanes

Most of the time it is alright and doesn’t activate in these situations. These are the only accidental warnings now. It’s stopped warning me about curves that I stay inside while still warning me if I drift out of the lane.
