Sad News! My 2021 Clarity was totalled (Obituary)

I regret that our "beloved" 2021 Clarity Touring thatwe purchased in February 2021 was broadsided by a pickup truck that blew thru a red light at 50 MPH or more. Thanks to the multiple airbags and safety designs, I suffered NO lasting injuries. Thankful I was the only passenger! She had just turned 12K miles and was truly in like-new condition. Since most of the damage was limited to the engine compartment, I expect that she will have new life as a parts donor.

Note that I posted some parts under this forum that I salvaged before being turned-over to the insurance company. Since I have no idea where the car ended-up, please don't ask about other parts.

You can find these items for sale here: Front/Rear All-Season Mats, Cargo Mat, Level 1 Charger, and Wheel Lock Kit

P.S. Since, as we all know, the Clarity has been discontinued, we ended up buying another Plug-in Hybrid. Although my wife and I miss our Clarity, now are in love with the new (and much more expensive) 2022 Rav4 Prime!

Sorry about your loss, but glad it kept you safe! Cool choice of replacement. Is it more spacious?...

Yes, it’s an SUV with a spacious hatchback.

Glad you are OK. time to upgrade to a 32amp level II charger. I believe the battery is only slightly larger at 18 kwh?
True, the Rav4 battery is slightly larger at 18.1 but because it's a heavier SUV it's rated at 42 electric miles which is what we are seeing. it as has 2 drive motors which unless set to Trail mode i rarely see the rear activated. ironically the 2nd motor may increase range since every regen uses both generators.
