I recently had to have body work done on my Clarity due to wind storm damage (needed new hood and passenger side headlight). After the storm the info panel let me know the headlight was not working, I get that. However, once the headlight was replaced and repairs completed the body shop told me they couldn't reset my info minder, so it still tells me there is a headlight problem. They told me to take it to my dealer (70 miles round trip) and have it reset by them, and bring the invoice back to the body shop (34 miles round trip in the opposite direction) to add it to the insurance bill for reimbursement. I was hoping there was a simpler solution. If I disconnect my 12v battery, will that reset the system? I realize I will lose all my Satellite radio presets and my preferences on car system setup will need to be redone. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
s

If you have to take it to a Honda dealership I'd have them double check the work on that headlight. That info-minder should turn off automatically when the headlight is properly working. The fact that it isn't makes me think it's not properly wired.
