First post after a 3 days with the new clarity. My wife asked me about the braking and I had no idea after all of the reading I had done on the car. We played with the regenerative braking and the settings from the paddles. It was easy to feel how the settings affected the "braking" when letting off of the accelerator, and without using the brake pedal. But.... when the brake pedal is pressed lightly, does the setting on the paddle also have an effect? Would a 1/4 travel of the brake pedal generate more regenerative power in paddle setting 4 vs. the same brake travel in setting 1? Does the setting somehow control the amount of regenerative braking compared to the friction breaking at different settings. Or do the paddle settings really have no impact when the brake pedal is used.

Any link to some good technical discussion on the braking system would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Rich

You can look at the line around the speedometer and see the amount of regenerative braking. It's about a wash setting to four or just hitting the breaks from my experience. Give a small edge on standard braking.
