My Clarity is a year old and my radio screen has several blotches on it that are under the glass panel and cannot be cleaned. I took it to my dealer and they took some photos and said they would investigate the problem and had not seen it before. Anyone else having this problem and what the solution is.

As an update to this problem my dealer called and said they had ordered a new display/map/radio screen and would replace it under warranty.

Sorry it took so long but I lost track of this thread and couldn't follow it untill just now. Hard to see with the glare but the splotches are under the glass cover.

My Honda dealer just replaced the Touch Screen on my Clarity so it"s "new" again. The cost was $2285 but was covered under warranty. I told him he could have put in a 75 inch Samsung screen cheaper. Everything on this car is twice the price or more of other higher production cars. A cracked running light was over $500. I love my car but may not keep it when the warranty runs out.

Strange, because it's an off-the-shelf unit used in several older Honda models: You'd think it would be one of the more readily-available, less expensive parts!

I just checked and the replacement is about $800 for other Honda models for what appears to be the same head. It probably requires about 1/2 labor hour but dealers seem loathe to charge less than an hour. I'm guessing the whole thing probably cost less than $1000.
