I'm trying to set up the hondalink in my brand new Clarity. I got the app installed on my phone and I used the camera to scab the VIN number from the barcode on the door. I got to the point in the app where it says it sent a code to the car. I cannot find that code anywhere in the car computer interface. It appears that I have not received any messages. Frankly I'm not even sure where to look for messages.

My phone is definitely connected to the car by Bluetooth.

Help!

I got it to work by making my phone a hotspot and hooking the car wifi to the phone.
