I have had my Clarity for a couple of weeks now. Did not charge for a few days and ran in hybrid mode for 260 miles. When I refilled tank and did the math I was amazed to see 49 miles per gallon. The majority of this was expressway using the air conditioner about half the time. So glad to see it exceeded the ratings on the window sticker.

Last week we drove to and from Minnesota to Ohio using HV mode. Driving the hilly Minnesota I-90 at 34 degrees and 72 mph we got 38-39 mpg. In less hilly Wisconsin we got high 40's in 50 degrees. Illinois to Ohio gave 55-58 mpg at speeds ranging from 69 to 72 and 60 degrees. Terrain and temps obviously make a difference, along with speed.
