As I mentioned in an earlier post I just discovered my EV range setting on one of menus.

Today I started the day at 68 miles of EV range. I was under the impression that the car had an EV range of 48.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

What is the ambient temperature at your location? Must be warm. It was 13 degrees here in St. Louis this morning EV range wasd 34.

My Clarity routinely got 55-65 EV during the summer months.

Keep in mind the EV range on the dash is an estimate. Range estimate has everything has to do with ambient temps and driving habits. At 50 degrees my range was 50-55 while others report 40-45 range at 50 degrees...driving habits etc.

Not a linear relationship. Multiple factors play into it.

My advice is not to fret. Drive it for a few months then you hopefully will get a feel for how it operates and be able to correlate charging with temps with habits.

On a full charge, I've seen my EV range go as high as 53:
Georgia, summer. 93˚F out, AC set to 73˚. Eco mode selected, moderate usage of regen paddles in previous drive.

I've also seen it as low as 32:
Georgia, winter. High of 34˚F, heated driver seat on, front, rear/mirror defrosters on. Eco mode selected, moderate usage of regen paddles in previous drive.

In late spring, summer, and early fall I average about 49 EV miles.
In late fall, winter, and early spring, I average around 34 EV miles.

More factors than that go into it, but those are the main ones I've noticed.

i don't think you should ever take the % from the dash as a real indication. It is known to be a rough estimate and will obviously not necessarily represent reality of driving depending on a lot of factors.

Mine I had it as high as 55 and low as 37
