When car is started the driver's seat heater comes on automatically on the lowest setting (0ne Light). This just started recently. I can't find anything on this issue. Just called dealership and the service guy asked me if the heater is left on when the car is turned off. We don't use the heaters as they use a lot of electricity. Kind of defeats the purpose of EV driving.
Car only has 800 miles on it. We never have used the Climate so I know that is not the issue.
Any ideas?? Thanks

What was the outside temps? This car does so many things automatically, it might have just wanted your 'south' side to think it had gone south :smile_big:.

Actually it does. If you read page 191 in the manual re: Seat Heaters, there is this paragraph "When the ECON mode is active, the driver's side seat heater functions according to the status of the climate control system. If you want to use only the climate control system, press the seat heater button to off."

You must have been in ECON (by default when you 1st turn power on) and the climate control was probably in 'auto' mode. BTW, someone on here found an article saying the seat heaters do not use as much juice as the climate control heaters do.
