I just bought a Bluetooth OBD II scanner on Amazon. It had 11,500 reviews with 74% of them 5 starts. Later I read an article about fake reviews on Amazon and Walmart becoming a big problem. The article mentioned a web site that analyzes reviews and grades them as to their trustworthiness. All you do is enter the URL of the product page on Amazon (and probably other retailers) and the site will tell you how reliable the reviews are. Wish I'd known about it before I bought the scanner. The reviews for the Amazon OBD II scanner I bought received a C grade.
