My 2019 Clarity has been at the dealership for a few days after being towed in because it will not shift out of park. The dealer says they have reached out to Honda support for help but there is no response. Has anyone had this issue and where was it resolved? Thanks

Real simple test - run a long heavy duty extension cord to the car and plug it in to an EVSE for a few minutes. Then unplug it. There is an interlock on all EVs that prevent them from being shifted out of park while there is a charging cable plugged in.

That sounds like what we did. Car would not start so charged it car to car. The dash lights would come on but could not shift. The tow driver looked for a reset but could not find one. The car is at the dealer but they can’t figure it out. This is a 2019. would Removing the battery and reinstall reset?

Did it charge when you had it plugged in?
