I'm on an EV rate plan with off peak price from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. I programmed the Clarity to charge matching those off peak hours.

Last night, I received a message saying the car did not successfully charge. It happened one other time a few weeks ago.

Anyone else having the same issue?

Thanks!

First suggestion is to make sure the EV plug is firmly seated into the vehicle charge port. When it is seated properly, a green light will blink three times and this indicates connection made.

Additionally, if the charger is plugged into the vehicle after the time it is supposed to start...in your case anytime after 11 pm...then the charge cycle will not start automatically till the next cycle.

Otherwise, more info needed to help trouble shoot.

Hope this helps

Yes, the green light blinks three times and charger is plugged in before the the scheduled start time.

Actually, I think it's the Honda app sending wrong information. The last two nights the app said charging unsuccessful but when I got into the car, it was fully charged.

The Honda app seems buggy. I have trouble connecting into it sometimes.
