Backup sensors - has anyone had the Honda system installed?

I was looking on the Honda web page and found a listing for the backup sensors that are factory. It is an option that must be dealer installed. I found 4 dealers in Southern California listed as Clarity service specialists. The page says the unit plus the 2 hours time to install is around $450. Has anyone had the the Honda system installed? does it interface with the display or is it a separate set of lights and warning noise. I am looking at it and am only interested if it displays as an original piece of equipment.

I could not fathom paying the dealer about a thousand dollars for the Honda sensors & integration.

I did buy an after market sensor kit from Amazon but have not installed it because of the rear bumper removal.
I just looked up the installation instructions from Honda. A lot of removal to get started. I was hoping that it would be a simple connection to an existing wiring harness that connected with the car. Since is is an audible beep and does not have any interface with the display I will pass.
If I could get a sensor system for $450 installed, I’d jump on it. All I need is the audible beep to alert me to potential trouble.
I know it's not the same thing, but I had the third-party Brandmotion blind spot monitoring and cross-traffic alert system installed by a local (authorized) shop. They had to remove the rear bumper and run wires all over the car ('21 PHEV Touring) for the "brains" module, the two rear sensors, the alert beeper and two "A" pillar LED indicators. Setting up the RADAR sensors requied the use of a level and a protractor, so precision was key. All-in for about a thousand bucks, and it works great.

The backup sensors sounds nearly as complex, so getting them installed at $450 sounds like a bargain that I wouldn't pass up.

I had a dealer installed set of backup sensors for our 2018 Clarity Touring in February. NEVER WORKED, and I took a $760 bath, and that was in February 2019.
See my other post on Easyguard blind spot monitoring system. The backup sensors were not hard to install, but it did take me a whole day to do them.
