Anyone use curb ramp to stop front end from bottoming out and scrapping in rolled curb driveway?

Hello - I have a 2019 Clarity PHEV which scrapes itself every time I pull out of my rolled curb driveway. I recently saw someone who had a $400 Bridjit curb ramp which seems well design for this purpose. I put the link in below so you can see what it is like.

I was hoping to get a similar product for a lot less money. Online searches tend to show hose and cable protector ($40 - $100+) which have have a different shape for their purpose, but do cause the tires to lift a bit.

While it seems to my non-engineering mind these maybe/might/perhaps would work - does anyone know curb ramp that's less that $400?

Thanks!
Nice but pricey...

Be advised that some cities are a bit sketchy when it comes to messing about with curbs and gutters, even when it's not permanent.

Hi - I'm leaving my post as it may be of general interest and someone may offer an even better solution. That said, I modified my search terms and found the 2 product below, at $83 and $100: they seem promising, any thoughts on these or other suggestions - Thanks

In addition to what EVNerd said, with a real heavy rain a couple of things could happen: when water routes its way around your dam it may find itself somewhere where you don’t want it instead of simply back on the other side of the dam. And there’s always a possibility that a torrential downpour could carry the thing down the street. Other than that, I believe it’s an interesting idea that could work in certain circumstances.

4 bags of ready mix with a 3" pvc soil pipe for the water?
In our neighborhood some folks use a 1/2" steel plate that is bolted to the curb (but not the street). both curb and street sides are beveled to smooth the transition. Water must pass freely underneath. They must get city building dept. approval for it. These are used for both cars and trailers, RVs and such (why so thick).

And a sure visit by the City's Code -Enforcement officer, with a violation notice and order to remove the concrete in hand. Probably a fine too.

I can't core the curb for a yard drain without a permit, in my area. Code enforcement here operates by citizen complaints, and most neighborhoods have a busybody that walks around, looking for violations to report. I don't get it.

LOL, I am sure you are right, cheap solution though:)
I have a curb like that and the same problem. I just pull in and out slowly, and at an angle.

Ouch! $$$$$ We recently lived in Las Vegas and had those stupid curbs. Some there used a grinder or diamond tipped saw blade to level out the slope. I know that at least one hired someone to do it. Our new ones (house not finished yet) will have them and I plan on asking the HOA if I can do so. I'm not holding my breath.
Do they have some sort of theft deterrent? (I’d be worrying about them being stolen)…

Also, as far as I know it is pretty difficult to pour new concrete on top of older cured concrete and expect the two to stay connected together. My guess is that your contraption would fall apart within a short period of time unless maybe you made provisions like doweling the curb before you add the contraption.
