2021 Clarity delivered without Level1 charging cable

Hi all,
I was unable to find a dealer willing to order or trade for a 2021 Clarity plug-in locally (Minnesota), so I located and purchased one from Illinois. I arranged to have it trucked in and received it last week. Unfortunately, it is missing the Level 1 charging cable. At the time of delivery I did not know where it would have been stored, so did not note it on the Bill of Lading. However, the charging cable is listed as "N/A" on the pick-up condition portion of the BOL that the dealer's rep signed.

The Level 1 cable should be included, and should have been in a bag strapped into the tire repair clip-strap, correct? The care is a 2021 base model. I've sent an email to the dealer about this and requested that they send the charging cable. Thanks in advance for helping with this question and any advice you can give.

Yes, the car should have come with a Level 1 Honda charger as well as an air compressor w/ flat repair kit.

if this car was new, then it should include them.

You should ask the selling dealer for not only the missing items, but if they did the pre-delivery (PDI) checklist which includes installing the road noise plugs under the frame...

BTW, common to see some uninformed dealers about the pre-delivery checklist they are supposed to perform.

You can locate the entire 13 page PDI on the Internet, here's the first page:

Thanks, 4sallypat. I should have looked more before suspecting a dealer mistake. When I searched around a bit more, I found it under the trunk's small lower compartment. I had assumed it would be where the manual said it would be. Oops.
Good to hear you found the charger!

Do look into a Level 2 charger to save on time.
Also some utilities offer discounts on a Level 2 EVSE install!

This is why when taking delivery I basically take everything out of a new vehicle and then put it back in. This also gives you a clue to how much "modification" you can do by "swiping" from brand siblings and corporate cousin vehicles.
I live in an apartment complex and have had discussions with the manager about installing Level 2 chargers. She is talking with her management about offering EV chargers as amenities for renters and thinks they may install them this year or next year. For now I use HV mode and occasionally charge while I'm out. Glad to have found the Level 1 charger, but for now I have nowhere to use it.

I'll also be lobbying at work to have some Level 2 chargers installed, though I'm working from home until the pandemic abates.
