Exclamation L-2 charging issues

New to the forum...my 2018 Clarity charges fine with the provided L1 charger, but I'm at about a 10% success rate when I use a public L-2 charger (...and I've tried a variety of them). The typical situation is that it starts charging and then 5-10 minutes later it stops.

Is this common? Is there anything I can do?

Some Clarity owners have experienced this. There is a service bulletin 18-097 for a software update that is supposed to solve the problem or at least help. The service bulletin is apparently not automatically applied if your car is in for service, you have to specifically ask for it and tell them that you have had problems using external chargers.

Thanks!

Got the software updates from the dealership, free of charge, and now L2 charging works every time.
