Tint for Clarity?

Anyone get some type of tint put on their car? I have heard it is good for keeping out UV and IR and can really make a difference in power needed to cool your car in the summer time. Anyone?

I put ceramic tint on my Clarity. Cost was about $350. Looks great with the gunmetal grey but as I did it in October I won’t be able to tell the full benefit until next summer. Other posts on insideevs said it kept the car very cool in hot temperatures.

The dealer I got my Clarity from applies tint to all the cars they sell. They assure me it blocks UV and IR. I’ll see if I can get any further info on the brand and type of tint they used.

With my old car, I found that the Llumar tint I used really helped in the summer. It was most effective for the first 2 hours parked outside. The AC didn’t have to work nearly as hard. Beyond that, the law of diminishing returns kicked in. My main use was to prevent sunburn while driving (#GingerProbs).
