Hello from SoCal

Hello all,

Going to finalize my purchase tomorrow on a Clarity Plug-In Touring. Dealer in Riverside is letting me take the car over night for an "extended test drive"

I live in Pasadena and commute to Riverside for work.

Hopefully this will be a good purchase.

Get a great overnight charge to see how your commute really does on EV.

Make sure you get the Honda incentives that CA consumers get - don't let the dealer woo you and they keep the money.

quick update:

The extended test drive was great. Ended up getting almost 50 miles of pure EV on my drive home from Riverside.

Pulled the trigger on the purchase yesterday. Really curious how long ill be able to milk the tank of gas for since I don't have a place to recharge at home, going back to work is in HV mode.

What are some of the things I should be looking out for with this car? Any known issues?

Can you tell us more about Not charging at home ?

Does this mean there's no way for you to connect to either 120v or 240 volts ?

Correct, the complex I live in doesn’t have any outlets in the garage area for me to plug in to. So I just charge at work since there are a few L2 chargers available.

But in other news, just managed to get from work to home on pure EV mode. 55 miles of highway driving and has 1 mile to spare lol
Set the cruise control at 70 and let the car do it’s thing. Kinda excited
